Cytosport’s Muscle Milk is a great product. I don’t say that about too many bodybuilding supplements, but I really believe this is a necessity for any serious bodybuilder. It is packed with real nutrition. Its one of the best sources of good fats, a sector of nutrition that is sorely overlooked in this industry. Our bodies need balance in order to work properly and pack on muscle, and eating nothing but pasta and chicken leaves many important areas of nutrition unattended to. Piracetam works, that’s not even what we’re going to discuss in this article. It is only available by prescription in the UK and other various European countries. Piracetam has not yet been reviewed by the America FDA, and as such is only classified as a “nutritional supplement”. It has been thoroughly tested since the 1960’s and has been shown to have significant effects when compared to placebo. So what is Piracetam and why is it useful to bodybuilding? Methyl-1-Alpha, also known by its acronym M1A has one main ingredient called Epietiocholanolone. Sounds like some obscure chemical right? Well chances are you’ve heard it called by its other name, Andro. Yes, that’s right; Epietiocholanolone and Andro are in fact, almost the same compound. Methyl-1-D is the latest creation of the Legal Gear company. It is billed as a “hormonal optimizer” and metabolism booster and has several main ingredients, including metabolites of testosterone. Let’s begin, as we always do, but examining the effectiveness of the main ingredients of Methyl-1-D. The bottle lists the active ingredients by their full scientific nomenclature.
